Such a wonderful weekend

I had such a wonderful weekend. First of all, I couldn't sleep Friday night, so instead I finished a really good Grace Livingston Hill book. For those of you who don't know, my grandmother, mother, and I are/were all hooked on her. She's such a positive author.

<:AtomicElement>Next, a group of adults took our Young Women and Young Men to the St. Louis Temple to do proxy baptisms. It was the first time there for one of the young women, and one of the young men, and the whole experience was just lovely. It was raining cats and dogs on the way up, and I had promised the girls in my car that it would stop just in time for them to run inside when we got there. They didn't believe me, but I was secretely praying for that all the way there. (hee hee) When we got there...it stopped!!! They were very surprised. Not me...I am an experienced prayer!!

<:AtomicElement>Next there was a Young Women's Broadcast from Salt Lake at one of the local sister's houses. The whole broadcast was basically about the new Young Women's Value, VIRTUE. It was lovely. One of the best events I've ever listened to.

<:AtomicElement>Today my sweet son-in-law was called to be the Second Counselor in the Bishopric. I am excited for him. I know that our bishop will be depending on him, and he is faithful.

<:AtomicElement>Finally, we brought our oldest grandson, Bruce, home for the afternoon after church. It was so much fun. We really enjoyed him.
